Crisis committees break from the traditional mold of the signature general assemblies with fast paced discussion that have immediate impacts within the simulation. Delegates will have the opportunity to run through the course of the conflict by using their portfolio powers, communiqués, and other powers to create their own version of the incident. This joint crisis committee will explore the 2014 Crimean land dispute between Ukraine and Russia. It will also involve the international organization of NATO in order to provide a third-party view and response to the incident.
