Crisis committees break from the traditional mold of the signature general assemblies with fast paced discussion that have immediate impacts within the simulation. Delegates will have the opportunity to run through the course of the conflict by using their portfolio powers, communiqués, and other powers to craft their own novel resolutions.

Mason Chung '26 chair |
Mason Chung (‘27) is a sophomore at Boston University Academy. This is his second year as part of the BUAMUN committee, and in his freshman year he was a vice chair in one of the crisis committees. Besides MUN, Mason enjoys reading, playing sports, and spending time with his family.

Jack Stowers '28 vice chair |
Jack Stowers ('28) is a freshman at Boston University Academy. However, this will not be his first year of involvement with BUAMUN, as he attended the conference during middle school, and Jack has participated in Model UN since 6th grade. Outside of MUN, his hobbies are Ultimate Frisbee, biking, and boating.
