Crisis committees break from the traditional mold of the signature general assemblies with fast paced discussion that have immediate impacts within the simulation. Delegates will have the opportunity to run through the course of the conflict by using their portfolio powers, communiqués, and other powers to craft their own novel resolutions.

MEET THE DIAS
Daschel Koh (‘24) is a junior at Boston University Academy, and this is his 3rd year participating in BUAMUN, once as a vice-chair and twice as a chair. He also participates in BUA’s Model UN club and has attended conferences such as BOSMUN. Apart from Model UN, he runs cross country and is an avid violinist/violist.

Matthew Jackman (‘26) is a freshman at BUA. He has loved learning about technology since he was old enough to walk. He has been involved in Model UN for three years as a delegate. Last year, he was a mentor for newer delegates. Outside of school, he enjoys playing piano and running cross-country. He has attended BUAMUN many times in the past, and so he is excited for his first time vice-chairing crisis this year at BUAMUN.
