Dear Trusted Advisors,
At 8:30 PM last night, the Central Intelligence Agency recieved confirmation that the Soviet Union has placed Weapons of Mass Destruction on the Island of Cuba. Needless to say, the United States considers this an enormous threat to National Security. While this crisis demands immediate action, we must be sure not to repeat the Bay of Pigs fiasco. I rely on your advice and council to help me steer this nation through this crisis.

Meet the Staff
Rohit Chaparala ('15), Chair ([email protected])
Rohit Chaparala is a senior at BU Academy. In addition to his role at BUAMUN, he also serves as co-President of the BU Academy Model UN travel team. He has participated in several collegiate-level conferences ever since his days as a young, pre-pubescent boy and has won a few awards along the way. In his free time, Rohit enjoys taking long walks on the beach, watching the sun set from a grassy hill, and feeling the gentle breeze of the sea.

Shamus Miller (Wellesley High School '17), Vice-Chair
Shamus Miller is a sophomore at Wellesley High School in Wellesley, MA. He has been involved with WHS's Model UN program since the beginning of high school. During his freshman year Shamus attended three conferences, BosMUN, Concord Academy MUN, and Model UN Camp. He was in committees which discussed Palestine, illicit arms trade, cyber-warefare and the Millennium development goals. Shamus' favorite TV show is the West Wing and his favorite subject in school is history. Outside of school Shamus enjoys sailing and traveling abroad.
