The World Health Organization is an organ of the United Nations dedicated to tackling some of the world's most pervasive public health issues. It assists local governments in delivering essential health needs to their populations. It leads in research and regulations, and coordinates cooperation between governments, the scientific community, and Non-Governmental Organizations. Delegates will have the opportunity to debate some of the world's most critical health issues.

MEET THE DIAS
Ollie Kuchler ('25) is a Junior at Boston University Academy, and this will be his third year of involvement with BUAMUN. In BUAMUN’s 10th conference, he co-chaired the ECOFIN committee, and last year he co-chaired the WHO committee. Outside of MUN, Ollie is the drummer for a Jazz band called the Swampcats and plays sports (soccer, basketball and volleyball) year round. In his free time, he enjoys reading, baking, and watching movies.

Geneva Kelleher ('27) is a freshman at Boston University Academy, and this will be her first year of involvement with BUAMUN. Outside of MUN, Geneva competes in public forum debate and studies language. In her free time, she enjoys playing cello and tennis.
