​Crisis committees break from the traditional mold of the signature general assemblies with fast paced discussion that have immediate impacts within the simulation. Delegates will have the opportunity to run through the course of the conflict by using their portfolio powers, communiqués, and other powers to craft their own novel resolutions.

Ilias Benmokrane ('24) is a senior at Boston University Academy, with his first year of involvement with BUAMUN. In his freshman and junior year, he was involved within Model UN at BUA. Outside of MUN, he leads Transit Club, is a part of Brand Design Club and spends his free-time developing video games and playing basketball.
