CHIEF OF STAFF
Sofia '26

Sofia Shih ('26) is a sophomore at BUA. This is her second year being involved with BUAMUN; she was a staffer prior to this year. Outside of BUAMUN, Sofia is an elected student council member who plays both soccer and basketball for BUA. When she isn't off doing an activity for BUA, you can find her reading, playing trombone, or watching a random TV show.

Adam Quackenbush '24

Adam Quackenbush ('24) is a Senior at BUA. He lives in Dover, MA, with his parents, three cats, and two conures (little parrots). He loves marine sciences and math, plays the piano, SCUBA Dives, plays Volleyball, and practices Taekwon do. He first got involved in MUN in middle school and had so much fun doing that and BUAMUN the past three years, that he decided to take up a leadership position this year! He is really looking forward to helping run the conference!

Ryan Liu '25

Ryan Liu ('25) is a Junior at BUA. He lives in Brookline, MA, with his parents, puppy, and younger brother. He loves reading fantasy and sci-fi novels, computer science, and soccer. He volunteered to assist BUAMUN for the past two years.

Metch Nelson '25

Metch Nelson ('25) is a junior at BUA. He lives in Roslindale, MA, with his parents, and younger sister. He loves to code, plays the trumpet, enjoys math and science, and is a historical fiction enthusiast. He has enjoyed volunteering for BUAMUN for the past two years and is excited for the conference.

Abby Araia '24

Abby ('24) is a junior at Boston University Academy and this is her first year doing BUAMUN. She is a head delegate of the MUN club at BUA but is pretty new to MUN otherwise. She is a part of the community service club, philosophy club, and social gaming club and is on the basketball and volleyball team at BUA, but outside of school, she enjoys hanging out with friends, going on walks, making way too many playlists, and watching tv with her family!

V Woolf '25

V ('25) is a junior at BUA and they have been participating in MUN since 5th grade. In their free time they play the double bass for the New England Conservatory's YS. If not practicing their music they also read, figure skate, and study philosophy. V works at the farm that they live on and show sheep and goats nationally. They chaired BUAMUN last year as a freshman and as a sophomore and are extremely excited to once again be part of BUAMUN. They are ecstatic to officially welcome you to BUAMUN XII!

Anais Kim '23

Anais Kim ('24) is a senior at BU Academy. She has had experience as a Staffer and as a Vice Chair for BUAMUN, and has also attended Model UN conferences during her middle school days. She enjoys hiking and sunrise/set chasing. She's also a big fan of Christopher Nolan films, and listens to Taylor Swift whenever she is not otherwise occupied. She's excited to begin her reign of terror as a Crisis Director.
