INTERPOL
The International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) is the largest police organization in the world. With 190 member countries, it is also the second-largest international organization in the world, behind the United Nations. It encourages cooperation between police organizations globally, and thus it works to fight terrorism, drug trafficking, arms trafficking, human trafficking, corruption, crimes against humanity, and a number of other international security concerns. INTERPOL is governed by a General Assembly consisting of representatives from each of its member states. INTERPOL delegates at BUAMUN will have the unique opportunity to deal both with policy and enforcement, making it a particularly dynamic and exciting committee.
